Session Description
Academic departments are evolving in response to changes in affiliated health systems, including the integration of diverse care providers across multiple sites beyond the primary academic center. This session will explore emerging models for incorporating faculty, associates, and affiliates into academic departments, as well as the challenges and opportunities associated with these shifts.
Discussion will also address how departments can effectively support physicians and scientists in increasingly varied roles while maintaining a cohesive academic mission.
