Xiaochang Zhang, PhD, FANA

Xiaochang Zhang, PhD, FANA, is an associate professor in the Department of Human Genetics and the Neuroscience Institute at the University of Chicago. His group focuses on functions, regulatory mechanisms and therapeutic potentials of mRNA isoforms in brain development and disorders. He received a PhD from Fudan University and trained at Boston Children’s Hospital as a postdoc. He is a recipient of the NIH Career Development Award, the SFARI Pilot Award, and the NIH Director’s New Innovator Award (DP2).
