Rujuta Wilson, MD

Rujuta Wilson, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Neurology and Psychiatry at UCLA and a faculty member of the UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment (CART). A graduate of The George Washington University’s combined BA/MD program, she completed pediatric and child neurology training at UCLA and later earned the Savant Behavioral Neurology Fellowship.
Dr. Wilson specializes in behavioral neurology, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and related neurodevelopmental and neurogenetic conditions. Her research focuses on understanding motor abnormalities in ASD and associated genetic syndromes, using quantitative measures to identify subtle motor impairments and their developmental impact. She has also conducted research on neurofibromatosis type 1 and epileptic encephalopathies, receiving support from the Child Neurology Foundation and other research fellowships.
In addition to her clinical and research work, Dr. Wilson is deeply committed to medical education, serving as Associate Program Director of the Child Neurology Residency and Pediatric Neurology Training Director for the UC-LEND program.
