Dr. Rafael Llinas is Professor of Neurology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Chair of Neurology at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He also serves as Program Director of the Johns Hopkins Neurology Residency. A fellowship-trained vascular neurologist, Dr. Llinas has led numerous innovations in stroke care, resident education, and clinical program development. His academic work spans over 60 original research articles, multiple textbook chapters, and leadership in national study sections and editorial boards. He is a Fellow of the American Heart Association, the American Neurological Association, and the American Academy of Neurology.
