Indiana University
Mohd Salman, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Anesthesia at the Indiana University School of Medicine and the Stark Neurosciences Research Institute, Indianapolis. Dr. Salman is working on the role of plasma-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) as non-invasive biomarkers and pathological drivers in neurovascular disease. His work focuses on characterizing features and molecular cargo of circulating EVs to differentiate silent brain infarction from acute ischemic stroke and elucidate their differential impacts on blood-brain barrier integrity and cellular senescence.
