Kerry Devlin, PhD, LPMT, MT-BC, is the senior music therapist at the Johns Hopkins Center for Music & Medicine, where she has the honor of co-constructing music therapy encounters in adult neurology, neurocritical care and pediatric anesthesiology and critical care. Dr. Devlin’s research has been published widely in medical and music therapy journals, and she recently co-edited the book Music Therapy and Music-Based Interventions in Neurology: Perspectives on Research and Practice (2024) published by Springer. As a disabled clinician, Dr. Devlin is particularly passionate about amplifying the lived experiences of patients and their families through co-designed and co-authored research.
