Jaishri Blakeley, MD, is a clinician scientist focused on nervous system tumors. She directs the Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Neurofibromatosis Center and provides care for people with NF1, the schwannomatoses and primary brain cancers. Her research focus is clinical trials for nervous system tumors including tumor pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic investigations, imaging biomarkers and patient focused, functional endpoints. She is the Marjorie Bloomberg Tiven Professor of Neurofibromatosis and Executive Director of the Neurofibromatosis Therapeutic Acceleration Program (NTAP). NTAP accelerates effective treatments for neurofibromas via collaboration, mentorship, open and timely data sharing and streamlined research support.
