Camilo Toro, MD

Camilo Toro, MD, received his medical degree from Javeriana University School of Medicine in Bogota, Colombia. He completed his residency in clinical neurology from the University of Minnesota and is board certified in clinical neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Toro was a visiting associate at NINDS’ Medical Neurology Branch, and subsequently was a tenure tracked scientist in the Human Motor Control Section (HMCS). Dr. Toro directs the NIH’s Adult Undiagnosed Diseases Program (NIH-UDP) and is a member of the Undiagnosed Diseases Network (UDN). Dr. Toro’s efforts focus on the evaluation of patients with new and/or undiagnosed neurological phenotypes, patients with movement disorders and atypical neurodegeneration.
