Weill Cornell Medicine
Alokkumar Jha, PhD, is an assistant professor of research in neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medicine. His research integrates genomics, multi-omics, medical imaging and computational modeling to advance precision medicine in developmental, cardiovascular and neurological disorders. His current work examines somatic mosaicism in neural tube defects, clonal hematopoiesis across the brain-heart-blood axis, multimodal prediction of heart failure and immune-aware polygenic risk models for Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis. He also studies the cardiovascular and neurological effects of GLP-1 therapies, aiming to translate complex biological data into tools for disease prediction, patient stratification and individualized prevention.
