Kambiz Nael, MD, is a professor of radiology and biomedical imaging at UCSF and serves a medical director of the 3D Lab, with a focus on advanced quantitative imaging. His research focuses on quantitative neuroimaging in cerebrovascular disease and brain tumors. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications. An active educator and mentor, he leads multidisciplinary training initiatives and frequently lectures at national and international meetings. He also serves as co-chair of the ASNR Research Committee and is an investigator on multiple NIH-funded studies.
