September 1, 2026 |

The Global CEO Initiative on Alzheimer’s Disease (CEOi) is a collaboration of leading private sector organizations dedicated to accelerating progress in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. By leveraging the collective influence of its members, which include pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic firms, and health technology leaders, CEOi works to shape global dialog, drive innovations in diagnostics and treatment, and increase global awareness of Alzheimer’s. The initiative is focused on addressing the growing public health crisis by fostering collaboration between industry, governments, academia, and advocacy groups to advance research, improve care, and ultimately prevent the disease.
Over the past decade, CEOi has made significant strides, notably through its efforts to foster cross-sector collaborations and push for global commitments like those made by the G7 and G20. It has played a pivotal role in advancing blood-based biomarkers and novel diagnostics that enable earlier and more accurate detection of Alzheimer’s, and in pushing forward the regulatory and clinical frameworks that support the development of these innovations. CEOi has also influenced policy discussions around Alzheimer’s funding and research, ensuring that this issue remains a priority on the global health agenda.
