Yung-Tian A. Gau, MD, PhD, is a neurologist, neuroengineer, and systems glioneuroscientist. She is currently a clinical neurophysiology fellow and chief clinical fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Her research integrates molecular, electronic, optical, and computational approaches to map neuromodulatory circuits underlying behavior in health and disease, with translational applications in closed-loop neuromodulation and brain-computer interfaces.
