Reena Thomas, MD, PhD

Reena Thomas, MD, PhD, is a clinical professor of neuro-oncology at Stanford Medicine and a physician-scientist specializing in translational immunotherapy for central nervous system tumors. Her trial portfolio focuses on advancing immune-based therapies, including CAR-T cell therapy, for patients with recurrent glioblastoma.
In addition, Dr. Thomas serves as Senior Associate Dean of Medical Education at Stanford Medicine and previously served as Fellowship Program Director and Education Chief for the Division of Neuro-Oncology. She is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of physician-scientists and advancing innovation in medical education, interdisciplinary collaboration and AI-enabled learning to help shape the future of academic medicine and neurology.
