MaryAnn Mays, MD, FAAN, is a staff neurologist at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Neurological Restoration, where she specializes in headache and facial pain. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio and completed her neurology residency and fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular disease at Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Mays has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of complex headache disorders, including trigeminal neuralgia and refractory facial pain syndromes. Her clinical and research interests focus on advancing treatment strategies and improving outcomes in headache medicine.
She is an active member of the American Headache Society, where she serves on the Leadership Development Committee and the REACH Curriculum Developers Committee. She is also a co-founder and board member of the Great Lakes Regional Headache Society, contributing to regional education and collaboration in headache care.
Dr. Mays has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in headache medicine and remains actively engaged in clinical research and professional education.
