Malya Sahu, MD, is a senior postdoctoral fellow in MS/neuroimmunology at Johns Hopkins. She is a recent graduate of the Fogarty LAUNCH Global Health Research Fellowship, where she was based in Lusaka, Zambia, and completed neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on diagnostic delays, sociocultural perceptions, and treatment access for neuroinflammatory disorders in resource-limited settings through mixed method approaches. She is passionate about designing, adapting and implementing multi-faceted interventions to mitigate health disparities among patients with MS, NMOSD and related disorders.
