Jerome Jeevarajan, MD

Jerome Jeevarajan, MD, is a vascular neurologist at UTHealth Houston. As an early career clinician-scientist, his research focuses on the application of data science and brain imaging to improve care for patients with acute brain injuries. He is studying new ways of applying artificial intelligence to low-cost imaging to maximize prognostic information for patients with brain injury due to cardiac arrest and stroke. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University and attended medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas. Then he completed his neurology residency and stroke fellowship at UT Houston and has stayed now as an assistant professor in Stroke and Inpatient Neurology.
