Chaitali Dagli, BHMS, MPH, is a foreign-trained physician and PhD Candidate in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her research focuses on understanding genetic, environmental and biological determinants of ischemic stroke, with a particular interest in using multi-omics approaches to elucidate mechanisms contributing to stroke risk and health disparities. Her work aims to advance precision medicine approaches in cerebrovascular disease by combining genetic, molecular, and epidemiologic data to improve stroke risk stratification and identify potential targets for future intervention.
