Armen Moughamian, MD, PhD

Armen Moughamian, MD, PhD, is a cognitive neurologist at the Ray Dolby Brain Health Center which is part of the California Pacific Medical Center and Sutter Health in San Francisco, California. Dr. Moughamian is the medical director of the center and leads a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, neuropsychologists and social workers in the evaluation and treatment of patients with cognitive impairment. He also heads the clinical trials program at the Dolby Center focused primarily on treatment trials for Alzheimer’s disease and early diagnosis. Dr. Moughamian completed his undergraduate training at UC Berkeley, MD and PhD trainings at the University of Pennsylvania and neurology residency and fellowship at UCSF. Dr. Moughamian also serves as the Chief of Memory for the Sutter Health Neuroscience service line. Dr. Moughamian’s work is focused on the implementation of advances in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases into clinical practice and improving access to cognitive care across the Sutter Health System.
