Amy Guzik, MD, FAHA, FAAN, is an associate professor and Stroke Division Chief in the Department of Neurology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston Salem, North Carolina. As Vice Chair of Network Operations and Medical Director of Stroke and Telestroke Services for the North Central and Western North Carolina Region of Advocate Health, Dr. Guzik has developed clinical networks of stroke care across the region, working to enhance patient access to neurological expertise wherever they live. She also serves as Chair of the AAN Advocacy Engagement Subcommittee and Vice Chair of the North Carolina Stroke Advisory Committee, participating in state and national efforts to expand and strengthen access to neurological care through collaboration and advocacy.
