Adilia Hormigo, MD, PhD, FANA, is a neurologist and physician-scientist specializing in neuro-oncology. She is the leader of neuro-oncology at Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center and professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Hormigo’s research focuses on glioblastoma with a strong emphasis on developing personalized immunotherapy strategies. She has led pioneering studies on brain tumor biomarkers and microenvironment. Her work has been funded by the NIH, foundations and industry partners to advance novel therapies for malignant gliomas. As an expert in translational research and clinical trials, she has played a key role in developing precision medicine approaches for brain tumors.
