Abhinav Maddipati, MBBS, is a research scholar at the Wilder Center for Epilepsy Research. He attended medical school at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in the coastal town of Puducherry, India. He is interested in neurology, neuroscience and the use of clinical examination and expertise as a tool to reduce healthcare costs. He hopes to become a physician-scientist and educator following residency and fellowship training.
